The month of July has been a lot of fun for the Sturges team as we’ve spent time in California and went back to Texas for the first time since this winter. We kicked off the month with the always fun Kaboom event in Pomona on July 4th. Sam and Ronnie put on a show, walking wheelies up and down the track but they couldn’t quite top Jimmy Creten in Bounty Hunter.

The 2Xtreme team followed the Sturges team to the next stop at Show Low, Arizona’s Thunder Raceway. Sam, Ronnie and Travis did a great job all weekend but again the wins would go to Bounty Hunter each night. The next two weeks would be spent on tour for Outlaw Monster Trucks in Texas, with stops in Longview and Lubbock. Sam and Ronnie would be back on top in Texas, splitting the wins each weekend between Unnamed and Nasty Boy.
